Today's 13-second reflection relates to becoming aware of what happens within our body when we are feeling fear.
Fear can be felt in different areas of the body.
-There may be a churning, nauseous feeling in the stomach.
-There can be a tingling, trembling or tightening sensation in the arms and legs.
-The posture of fear can either be one of mobilization/ moving away or immobilization/ freezing.
-Common fear-based sensations include feeling cold, short of breath and an increased heart rate.
Take a moment to think about what happens in your body when you are feeling fear.
Be curious about it,
and when you are ready,
gently move on with your day.
